I lost a lot of shots this week due to my poor camera settings, but a few survived. The assignment was “bird’s-eye-view/dog’s eye view”: here are a couple I love (click on an image to see it bigger). They go nicely with some recent notes from my journal.

Those places we call Sanctuary are the places that give voice to joy,
that give voice to peace.
And peace is very rarely quiet.
