Discerning between the positive potential of novelty and the dangerous traps of fashion is tricky. There’s no formula for maintaining the necessary vigilance.
Your brain can do some pretty amazing stuff (as well as some incredibly aggravating things). You are actually way cooler than your brain, which is simply a very fantastic thinking tool.
As we mature, we have the opportunity to get to know what our unique brains can and cannot do. It never ends.
Productivity is really a much lovelier word than we tend to realize.
I think about it when I’m making lots of things—when a number of projects are all cooking at the same time. Then it’s creative, gratifying, infinitely challenging and magical. More than simply making stuff, it expands into the joy of making stuff.

2. the action or process of forming such images or concepts.
Forget about “keeping up”.
It’s not fun, and it wastes an enormous amount of time and energy you could pour into dreaming up new stuff.
Just keep following your passion, and use the tools you need to make it happen.
