Photo: documenting dance

My son has been involved with the Venice Arts advanced film program for about three years. Their latest project is a documentary film about a fellow student's talented and determined sister, who studies at the Yuri Grigoriev School of Ballet in Venice.

The class went to the studio's culminating performance to get more footage for the project, with two teams quietly flanking the stage. I got a lot of blurry dance shots, plus a few decent ones, with my Galaxy 4. This one below, of my son filming the dancers in luminous motion, is my favorite.
