The Viewport collaboration exposed unexpected possibilities for further evolving my Asemic work. In 2024, I had created more than 20 small, densely layered paintings for the Forgetting and Remembering series, which was followed by a number of open, grid-like frameworks with looser, open strokes. Viewport showed me what can happen when dense layering meets open space, and it is the moment of their meeting—the horizon—that hints at potential.
