As the machines that assist our thinking get smarter and smarter, how much assistance is too much?
Design process: directive and receptive
On two separate occasions, I’ve been asked if I’ve ever heard of the double diamond model of the design process. I’ve said no both times.
Curiosity as a Superpower
Humans are always creative, no matter what their circumstances. The nature of their creativity is shaped by their circumstances, and I've been wondering today if that shape ranges from playfulness at one end of an imaginary scale to resourcefulness at the other end.
You are not your brain
Your brain can do some pretty amazing stuff (as well as some incredibly aggravating things). You are actually way cooler than your brain, which is simply a very fantastic thinking tool.
As we mature, we have the opportunity to get to know what our unique brains can and cannot do. It never ends.
